Ciriaco D'Ambrosio

Short Resume

Ciriaco D'Ambrosio was born in Avellino. He got his Laurea cum laude in Computer Science from the Università degli Studi di Salerno in 2011.
In 2015, he received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Salerno with a thesis on models and algorithms for coverage in Wireless Sensor Network.

Since July 2015 he has been a Postdoc researcher at the Department of Mathematics of the Università degli Studi di Salerno.

His research focuses on Combinatorial Optimization, Heuristics, Metaheuristics, Math-Heuristics for Mixed Integer Linear Programming problems.
In particular, he has been working on exact and heuristic approaches for the maximum lifetime problem in sensor networks with coverage, connectivity and interference constraints.

He is a member of the Italian Operations Research Society (AIRO) and He is currently serving as Associate Editor for Soft Computing, A Fusion of Foundations, Methodologies and Applications.
